| We are happy to welcome you to our website featuring original design embossed tiles All pieces are finely crafted and painted by hand with attention to detail. Begun by Peg Watson in 1989 in northwestern Chester County, Pennsylvania, Warwick Pottery Works is a thriving cottage industry and has grown to be an established, respected tile works. A graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Peg brings a painter's skill to the design of Warwick Pottery Works line of tiles. The elegant embossed tiles, whose images were drawn from local scenes and native flora of the area, show that the difference is in the details. Recently her husband,Tom (also a graduate of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts), has joined the dedicated crew in creating these miniature masterpieces. For 11 years the skilled brushes of artists have created tiles for kitchens, baths, and many other applications. Warwick Pottery Works' tiles are installed in homes worldwide. Warwick tiles are hand painted on the greenware (raw clay) and bisque fired at cone 04 (2000° F) glazed and fired a second time for durability and permanence. Tiles are extruded, we do everything else by hand, including pressing, cleaning and even brushed-on glazes. Tiles can be handled as often as 12 times in their production and any flaws or defects can be corrected or the tile is discarded. Our strict standards ensure a product of outstanding and consistent quality. We are proud to offer a number of unique designs not to be seen anywhere else. The result is a gallery of miniature paintings that will adorn your home for a lifetime. We invite you to review the following pages which show our current line of tiles.
